Facilities @ KTC
Pull Through Test
Testing inspection tools across 4 to 56 inches pipeline diameters. This capability is crucial for assessing the performance of the inspection tools under different conditions of speed and wall thickness.
Data Systems Lab
The lab is equipped with KinSoft our data analysis software to process and interpret the data captured by the inspection tools. Sophisticated A.I. models for inspection data analysis are also developed.
Mechanical Lab
The mechanical lab serves as a space for designing, prototyping, and testing the mechanical components of the inspection tools. This includes testing the durability, strength, and overall structural integrity of the tools.
Pipeline Flow Loop
The pipeline flow loop is designed to replicate the conditions of non-piggable pipelines. This allows for testing the functionality of inspection tools that are specifically designed to operate in situations where traditional "pigging" methods are not feasible.
Electronics Lab
The electronics lab is dedicated to the development and testing of the electronic components of the inspection tools. This involves Sensor Technology, Data Acquisition System, Inertial Measurement Unit and other electronic components crucial for the functioning of the tools.
Training Facility
The training facility is equipped to provide hands-on training for technicians, engineers, and other professionals involved in the operation, maintenance, and integrity management of pipelines. This includes both classroom and practical training sessions.
